Life happens - Your carpool driver gets sick, your exam runs long, or your boss needs you to stay late.
RideOn has the Emergency Ride Home program to help you out when life strikes with the unavoidable.
If you’ve logged at least three trips in the last 30 days and your current commute is logged, you’re eligible.
Within the app, click the Emergency icon on your trip calendar in the app and the system will confirm that you qualify. Once confirmed, the RideOn app will send you a message with the number for a local cab or rideshare provider along with an authorization code for payment. You get a safe ride home, and RideOn gets the bill. Please keep in mind that ride providers may not be available in all rural areas.

User must have a RideOn account.

User must be a member for at least 30 days.

User must have logged at least three telework, carpool, vanpool, public transportation, bike, or walking commuter trips in the past 30 days.

ERH is currently only available in the greater metro areas.

RideOn users are limited to three uses of the Emergency Ride Home service per calendar year.

In order to receive a voucher, you must have a valid email address accessible on your smart phone or other device used to interact with the RideOn application. Voucher is sent via email and is required to pay for the ride.

The Emergency Ride Home feature has no cost to qualified RideOn users. If the requirements listed above are not met, an ERH voucher will not be issued. Without a voucher, the user will be responsible for finding and paying for a ride at their own expense.
